Recorded in 1967 by a Bulgarian quartet led by pianist Milcho Leviev and flutist Simeon Shterev. The album features covers of Thelonious Monk, Charles Lloyd and jazz standards, but the Carla Bley classic "Jesus Maria," also covered by Jimmy Giuffre, is particularly beautiful.
