Fantastic 60's Norwegian Jazz!! a recording of a concert held at the Munch Museum in Oslo in May 1967 by Norwegian pianist Egil Kapstad, leading Norway's top jazzmen and a female chorus. All songs were written specifically for this concert. The A-side features the modal suite "Syner," with scat/chorus reminiscent of Karin Krog or Norma Winstone, and the B-side features the inst. "Children's Waltz" and "Song for the birds." Amazing! with Jan Garbarek, Bjorn Johansen, Frode Thingnaes, Atle Hammer, Laila Dalseth etc..
